How much is the conversion service?
$795 for steel and fiberglass tubs and $1095 for cast iron. If your house was built prior to WWII you may have a cast iron tub.
How long does the installation take?
The installation process takes approximately two hours with a minimum of disruption. A little longer for cast iron.
Is the process messy?
No. Our installers clean as they go leaving no mess, dust or unpleasant smells.
What colours does the new threshold come in?
Any colour you want as long as it's white. Sorry, white only.
How much can I expect the step to be reduced?
The process reduces the step by 8". A standard tub is 14" or 15", leaving a step of 6" or 7".
Can I take a bath after the conversion process?
No. The bathtub is converted to a step-in shower.
How is the water prevented from splashing onto the bathroom floor?
A regular shower curtain does the trick. Your installer may need to lower the curtain rod, or we have shower curtain ring extenders that we can provide.
Can the shower be converted back to a bathtub?
In many cases a cut tub can be converted back to bathtub through the installation of an acrylic bathtub liner.
